Welcome to my series of mobile and iPad game reviews: Mini Mobile Game Reviews! To kick off my first mini review, I'm going to discuss Cat Snack Bar, a cozy idle cat restaurant management game!
Cat Snack Bar
Cat Snack Bar is an adorable restaurant management simulation game that's available for both iOS and Android!
Help your cat restaurant owner manage different cafes and restaurants. Hire other cat employees to take food and beverage orders. Expand your restaurants with the money you earn and level up to new scenery. This is an idle game where when you come back to the game after being offline and you'll have earned money to use to upgrade your cafes more.
There's adorable costumes to unlock for your cat restaurant manager to wear and fun themed events to participate in that are timed and give you a challenge to complete before the time runs out!
Mini Mobile Game Reviews: The Details!
Before I get into the review, I'd like to explain how I rate my cozy mobile and iPad games! I give my game reviews a rating out of 5 stars and consider a handful of things when I think about my game ratings.
Coziness
Whether the game is comforting and cozy. Cozy games tend to have a slower pace and emphasize relaxation and de-stressing. In my reviews, I will take the coziness of the game into consideration of how it makes me feel and whether it relaxes me!
Appearance
My reviews will take into consideration what I think of the game's appearance and the artistic graphics of the game! I love all kinds of artistic styles for games and that's a big part of how I feel about the game.
Playability
How playable is the game? Is it easy to play or is there a bit of a challenge? I don't want a game that's entirely too easy to play but, at the same time I don't want a game that's too hard to ever complete. I will also take into consideration the type of game it is and what the functions of the game are.
Cost
What's the cost of the game overall? Ideally, most mobile games I recommend and review are free initially but, they might have some in-game purchase options. Are there a ton of annoying advertisements in the game? Is it worth watching a few ads every time you play to receive in-game currency or playable items?
Overall Feel
How do I feel about the game overall? Is it a game that I'd want to come back to and play daily or is it one that I pick up every once in awhile?
My Mini Mobile Game Review
Coziness & Appearance
This game gives me all the cozy feels! The cats, both the restaurant staff and the customers, are all so adorable and all of the different restaurant and cafe levels are super cozy!
Playability
Because Cat Snack Bar is an idle restaurant management game, its very easy to play. You can play whenever you feel like it and gain coins even when you're away from the game. It's a stress-free game that doesn't require a ton of energy to play! I really enjoy the special timed events that pop up. They're a lot more challenging to try and complete than the normal levels. It makes it exciting and keeps my interests in the game.
Cost
This game is free, which is a big requirement in this series of Mini Mobile Game Reviews! There are in-game purchases that can be made but, it doesn't prevent you from playing the game! I also love that if you want extra coins, gems or other in-game tools, you're able to watch a short ad to get them but, you can choose not to watch ads if that's not your thing!
Overall Feel
Overall I love this game! It was one of the first few games I started to play and see what kind of cozy mobile and iPad games I'd enjoy. Cozy cat games definitely have a special place in my heart being a cat mom as well! All of this deserves 5 out of 5 stars!
