I'm Caitlyn, a cozy gaming content creator and writer of this blog! I create content around cozy gaming on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Twitch currently and aspire to do more as time goes on.

This blog is part of my cozy gaming journey where I plan on sharing all my favorite cozy gaming recommendations for iPad and mobile devices, Nintendo Switch, Play Station and more! I'm also here to share my tips and tricks, game play-throughs, game sales and budget friendly gaming setups and accessories!

I wanted to create this blog and my other social media accounts to reach the casual gamers, like myself, who like to play video games but, don’t want the pressure of having to have a pretty and aesthetically pleasing desk set up or buying every single game release that comes out. I like to play video games but, sometimes don’t have the time or energy to play every night or even for weeks at a time. And that’s okay! That’s exactly what casual cozy gaming is all about. We’re here to have fun and play through our video games on our own timeline and using the consoles and space we have available to us. You don’t have to have a crazy aesthetically pleasing gaming desk set up to enjoy cozy gaming.

About Me and My Cozy Gaming Space

I've been playing video games my entire life. Whether that was on the Play Station 2, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 or Nintendo DS, I've always had a love for gaming. Most of the games I played would have fallen into the cozy gaming genre of video games but, I didn't know what cozy gaming was at the time.

I'm a cat mom of three crazy kitties. We're a gaming family and our cats absolutely love getting in the way when we're gaming or streaming. You'll definitely see them cameo in future videos and I'll also share their favorite things for my fellow cat-loving cozy gamers! I love creating. I'm the type of person who can see something and immediately know that I can re-create it. I like to cook and bake and I'm also a makeup fanatic! I'm a big Disney fan and also love Marvel and DC.

My cozy gaming setup currently consists of my iPad, my Nintendo Switch, my boyfriend's old Play Station 4 that he passed down when he upgraded to his Play Station 5, and my MacBook. I use my work from home desk for work during the day and then switch over to gaming in the evenings. My setup is always evolving and I'm working toward saving for a gaming computer and setup but, we all know how expensive those are. Which is why I also want to share my gaming journey with the cozy gaming community because I know there are other people out there like me who game casually and use the things we have available to us and don't break the bank just to enjoy playing video games.
